We show you a Chinese car with a reasonable price that will arrive shortly with two power levels, 315 and 536 HP, and a range of more than 500 kilometers.
MG seems to want to become the manufacturer that offers the best product in terms of price-power ratio. If you recently announced the arrival of the MG4 Xpower, with 435 HP for 42,190 euros, now the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China has published important technical specifications of the expected MG Cyberster.
The MG Cyberster is a classic roadster, but equipped with an all-electric drivetrain. With this vehicle, the Chinese brand wants to evoke its British past, when MG made beautiful and elegant sports coupes and convertibles, like the MGB.
What makes the Cyberster more interesting, apart from its roadster design, is that it allows users to access an electric sports car without having to make a large financial outlay. And, furthermore, with a high level of performance.
The Chinese car with an affordable price that increases its power even more

The MG Cyberster will be available with two configurations: a rear-wheel drive and a 315 hp and another with two motors and all-wheel drive, one on the rear axle, with 340 HP, and another at the front, with 205 HP. In total, the power will be 536 HP and 727 Nm of instantaneous torque, figures that are enough to make the 0 to 100 km/h in about 3 seconds.
We are therefore looking at a high-flying sports car, with power and acceleration figures comparable to some of the most powerful supercars of the moment.
Both versions are powered by the same lithium-ion battery with 77 kWh of capacity, which allow the MG to travel a distance of 579 kilometers at best, according to the Chinese measurement cycle, which is much more generous than the European WLTP.
However, the Cyberster’s weak point could be its weight, as it is expected to declare on the scale a weight close to 2,000 kgwhich would reduce its agility and significantly reduce its behavior.
A very well finished Chinese sports car

Leaving aside its excessive weight, inappropriate for a compact roadster, MG has created a truly attractive and elegant sports car with the aim of making European customers abandon their prejudices. Something that is already happening in England, due to the firm’s English past.
The Cyberster’s interior also gives off a certain premium feel. It has a three-spoke sports steering wheel with shift paddles, a digital instrument panel linked to a multimedia system screen, in a curved and high-quality format, as well as controls to regulate the seats located in the doors, like Mercedes.
The price of the new MG Cyberster is not yet known, but it is expected to be in line with the Chinese brand’s current range of products.
